its friday! and a long weekend! and already 9am! i hope the rest of the day goes fast. im -really- hoping that my boss just tells us to close hte office early. that would be the ideal situation.

last night was so, SO much fun. the most fun ive had in a while! heavenly states were -amazing-. i loved them. and there were so many cool people there. maybe its a sign that this weekend will be rad.

so im bummed out about that stupid interview. who tells someone they have an interview, and then never calls?! i guess its all for the best, i never really wanted to work for them either, it was just an opportunity to go where i wanted to and do what i wanted to do. i suppose it wasnt meant to be. screw them, its their loss, right?

i wrote a letter to the editor at the sun news yesterday. this town is full of bullshit, and reading that a football player who was arrested for driving 3 times the legal limit was able to get his jail time moved back so he could play in the game this weekend, well, it just pissed me off. someday athletics will get theirs, and maybe everyone will realize they arent as deserving of the pedestal as everyone thinks they are.

i am so exhausted this morning! i think its maybe because its wednesday. 3 more days. then a nice long weekend. thank god.

yesterday i realized that the cool thing about being done with school, its that im always on break. i work like i would in the summer, i can go out like i would in the summer, but now, my friends are ALL back in school, and its hard to coordinate to all go out. i wonder what it'll be like once it gets later into the semester. depending on how tomorrow goes, i may not be here.

this week has been ok. monday night i went and watched kris roe on campus. it was pretty weird. i didnt know he was even going to be there. we were really just kinda amused by the whole thing. poor kris roe will never lose his ataris image. and from what i heard, that was mostly what he played. we also noticed how his weight fluctuates a lot and he seems to being going bald quickly. poor guy. no one ever told him that when youre going bald, you dont dye your hair black so everyone can see your pasty white skin under your comb over.

last night we went bowling. weve been going kinda frequently, but i still have no skill with it. i didnt even really drink last night, and i was still terrible. now ill never be a pro bowler. :'(

recent events in this town have made me realize how lame it can really be. everyone things they rule the town. well, we all know that doesnt work.

if i get this denver job, im wondering what it will be like to leave. ive never left my family, move to a new city by myself and had really, nothing there. its kinda scary. but i guess i ought to worry about that when the time comes.

went to red lobster last night and to old navy after that. bought a few new things. went home and went to bed by like, 945. i was so exhausted.

this past weekend actually didnt go -that- fast. the days actually kind of felt like whole days!

i dont really feel like recapturing the entire thing. friday was full of drama and bullshit, but its all "taken care of now." so we just wont go into it. most people already know about it anyway. i wasnt too shy about it, because it was by far the most ridiculous thing ive ever heard. and hearing it just made me really realize i need to get away from small towns.

wow. aol radio is the best. "in your eyes" is on right now. i havent watched say anything in a while. i think i need a movie night. sigh.

so today is the first day of shool for everyone. its kinda weird to not go. a little depressing i guess. everyone will go to frenger for lunch, laugh at the manchildren, and a whole new generation of students will experience dorleen freaking out in class (I DONT HAVE TIME! I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS!!). time cant stand still though.

i havent heard anything back from any of the jobs i applied for yet. but it takes time, right? god, i hope at least one comes though.

i havent updated in quite some time. not really a whole lot going on. this weekend was fun, friday i went to eat with christi and then to coffee with judy and christi. after about 45 minutes of would you rather questions, christi and i both decided to be lame and go to sleep at 10pm. i think it was the first time ive been to sleep that early on a friday since i had my surgery. kinda nice i guess.

saturday was christi's presentation, then felice's birthday at the club. drank a little too much, and woke up feeling pretty shitty sunday. i've decided im going to cut back on drinking, make it a rare thing. i'd also like to start drinking more wine i think. its better for you. plus i'll save some money, which never hurt anyone.

i leave for austin in 7 days. crazy. i can't believe it came up on me so fast. i dont know what it is, im excited about it, but im not quite stoked yet. maybe i need to watch that against me dvd one more time. im getting a little nervous about flying too. pathetic, i know, but i cant help it.

my dog has learned how to open doors, and twice today, ive had to smack him for going into where his dog biscuits are in the closet. i finally moved them up a level.

last night went really, really well. i was really happy with the outcome. we were recieved really well at the remote, tons of people were telling me that we should do that more often. its not really hard, just time consuming. the show went awesome too. really good turnout. i didnt know how it would do, but i was pleased.

i want to go oto a movie tonight. steve, how about those passes??
